同済大学にレクチャーしに行くのが6月頭に決まった。6月には中国行って、北海道に2回も行くという強行軍である。いろんな原稿の締めきりもあり、、、、大丈夫だろうか？ヒヤヒヤだ。I've decided to give a lecture at Tongji University in early June. I'll be going to China in June and Hokkaido twice. I'll be on a tight schedule. I've got a lot of manuscripts to finish... Will I be okay? I'm nervous.

今年の3月まで坂牛研に留学していたイタリア人のウィーン工科大学の学生アリアナの修士論文は葛飾区の河畔に流通施設を作るというもの、震災時にも活用するという狙いがある。今日もズームでアドバイスを送っている。修論の副査も引き受けて最終試験にはズームで参加する。 Ariana, an Italian student at Vienna University of Technology who studied at the Sakaushi Laboratory until March this year, is working on a master's thesis on building a distribution facility on the riverside in Katsushika Ward, with the aim of using it in the event of an earthquake disaster. Today, I am giving her advice via Zoom. I am also taking on the role of sub-examiner of her master's thesis and will participate in the final exam via Zoom.

我が家のクレマチスは夏に全部枯れるけど、今の季節に毎年花が咲くAll of our clematis die in the summer, but flowers bloom every year during this season.

だいぶ前からアレッポ（シリア）の石鹸を使っている。オリーブオイルが主原料で無臭。最近はトルコで作っているらしい。そのせいか溶けやすく石鹸受けが汚れて困る。I've been using Aleppo (Syrian) soap for a while. Olive oil is the main ingredient and is odorless. Apparently they've been making it in Türkiye recently. Perhaps because of this, it melts easily and the soap holder is dirty, which is a problem.

アートコレクターズの5月14日発売の号に、拙著『建築を見る技術』を題材にしたインタビューを掲載していただきました。最後の方はどんなアートが好きですかという話になり、アート雑誌ならではのインタビューでした。El número del 14 de mayo de Art Collectors presenta una entrevista conmigo sobre mi libro, "El arte de ver la arquitectura". Hacia el final, hablamos sobre qué tipo de arte nos gusta, convirtiéndola en el tipo de entrevista que esperarías de una revista de arte.

字を書くのが好きだから筆記用具も気がついたら結構ある。 左から毎朝の日記用のペリカンの極太（親父の形見）インクは青、赤茶色のペンはDavidooffスイスの万年筆太字でとても書きいい。インクは黒。赤いペンはモンブランの中字（おふくろの形見）。軽くて持ち運びにいいのでたまに使う。黒いモンブランもおふくろの形見。両方ともインクはブルーブラック。短い黒いモンブランは手帳につけて持ち歩く用。インクはオイスターグレー。これだけカートリッジ。隣の黒い太いペンはオーロラ（イタリア製）赤いイングが入っていて添削用。その隣にある2本はシャープペン。細いのがファーバーカステル。太いのはオーロラ。どちらも0.7mm。隣のネーム入り黒いペンはオーロラのボールペン。最後はカランダッシュの水性ボールペン。どれも結構使う。I love writing, so I've noticed that I have quite a few writing utensils. From the left, I have a Pelikan with an extra-thick nib (a keepsake from my dad) that I use in my daily diary. The ink is blue. The reddish-brown pen is a Swiss Davidoff fountain pen with a thick nib that writes very well. The ink is black. The red pen is a Montblanc with a medium nib (a keepsake from my mom). It's light and easy to carry, so I use it occasionally. The black Montblanc is also a keepsake from my mom and has a fine nib. Both use blue-black ink. I keep the short black Montblanc in my notebook and carry it around. The ink is oyster grey. This is the only cartridge. The thick black pen next to it is Aurora (made in Italy) with red ink in it for correcting marks. The two next to it are mechanical pencils. The thin one is Faber-Castell. The thick one is Aurora. Both are 0.7mm. The black pen with my name on it is an Aurora ballpoint pen. And lastly is a Caran d'Ache water-based ballpoint pen. I use all of them quite often.

来月17日昼から北大、夕方北海道科学大学、18日朝から夕方まで室蘭工業大学でレクチャーします。北海道科学大は公開です。2010年代の二つの事件、 カタストロフィと新しい哲学が建築をどう変えたか、二つの事件にかかわる人と物をどう考えるかお話しします。We will be giving lectures from the afternoon on the 17th of next month at Hokkaido University, Hokkaido University in the evening, and Muroran Institute of Technology from the morning to the evening on the 18th. Hokkaido University of Science will be open to the public. Two incidents in the 2010s, catastrophe and new philosophy changed architectecture. How did they change architecture? In response to this, we will consider how to build the architecture.

坂牛研最後の博士学生の3本目の査読論文が採用されたというメールが来た。これで7月公聴会やって晴れて5人修了。チリ行く前に打ち上げしましょう！I received an email saying that the third peer-reviewed paper from Sakaushi Ken's last doctoral student had been adopted. This concludes the hearing in July and has finally come to an end. Let's launch before I head to Chile!
