今日から大学院のディプロマスタジオが始まる。7人中6人女性。今年は女性が多いと言っていたが本当に多い。僕とマルセロの課題「一緒に住む」を1年間考え続けて修士設計に仕立てるのである。僕は次のセミスターはズームで指導する。The graduate school diploma studio starts today. Six out of seven students are women. The first lecture was two consecutive sessions. Two and a half hours. It's fun, everyone's eyes are sparkling. This is a top school, so no one skips. Ignacio says that there is nobody to select courses because they can get credits easier. Today I spoke an introduction of my course but I'm surprised that everyone is taking notes seriously. There's a lot of things I want to teach.

カトリカ建築学部の出版局がキャンパス内にある。そこでは年3回建築雑誌ARQがバイリンガルで作られている（ここが重要）。最新号は「アメリカという地域」マックスの新作（チリアカタマ砂漠の地域美術館）からブラジルのバイオファクトリー、地域の自律性を作るココナッツ集積所。学部が出版局持っているのもすごいが、この雑誌すでに119号まで（40年以上）出ているのに驚く。The Catholic School of Architecture has a publishing house on campus. It publishes the architecture magazine ARQ three times a year , which is bilingual (this is important). The latest issue is titled "American Territories," and covers topics ranging from Max's new work (a regional art museum in Acatama Desert) ,a bio-factory in Brazil and a coconut dump that fosters regional autonomy. It's impressive that the school has its own publishing house, and it's also surprising that the magazine has already published 119 issues (over 40 years).

えっこれが大学と驚く18世紀の建物をコンバートしたのがカトリカ大建築、デザイン、アーバニズム学部の発祥部分。その中の教室で水曜日からの授業をする。幸い受講者は27人と多く、アクセプトするかと聞かれたがもちろんやります。建築だけの建物もありそこにオフィスを1部屋いただいた。これから仕事は半分そっちでやるかな。What? Is this university? Classes will start from Wednesday in the classrooms among them. Fortunately, there were 27 participants, and I was asked if I would accept it, but of course I will do it.
