今日は金曜日。こっちきて3週間。今晩は一人でお祝い。チリでマルベックはポプュラーではないが探して見つけたMONTESのマルベック。2000円くらい。日本でも3000円くらいだけど美味いなあ、幸せだなあ。Es viernes. Llevo aquí tres semanas. Esta noche lo celebro solo. ペルーのリマカトリカ大学の教授陣3人とズームをした。来年の6月から7月にかけて学生向けの集中講義と教授陣向けのレクチャー、ラウンドテーブルをやろうとの第一回企画会議。リマカトリカもとても素敵なキャンパスと学生たちであった。３回くらい教えに行った。犬が教室来る自由さに感動したなあああ。Tuve una videollamada por Zoom con tres profesores de la Universidad Lima Catolica, Perú. Esta fue la primera reunión de planificación para impartir un curso intensivo para estudiantes, una conferencia para el profesorado y una mesa redonda entre junio y julio del próximo año. Lima Catoliica también tiene un campus y unos estudiantes maravillosos. He impartido clases allí unas tres veces. Me impresionó mucho la libertad con la que los perros entran al aula.

サンチアゴの日本大使館はラテンアメリカの日本大使館の中ではかなり立派。アルゼンチンなんかオフィスビルの中だから。国交の親密度が現れているのだろうな。La Embajada de Japón en Santiago es bastante impresionante comparada con otras embajadas japonesas en Latinoamérica. En Argentina, está ubicada dentro de un edificio de oficinas. Supongo que refleja la cercanía de las relaciones diplomáticas.

授業のない日に、大学のオフィスで一人スケッチする時間は、何にも増して心休まる。En los días que no tengo clases, encuentro que el tiempo para dibujar solo en mi oficina de la universidad es lo más relajante.

スペイン語話す人たちで日本に来た人は皆日本にはゴミ箱が無いと言う。サンチアゴには20メートルおきにある。公園には🐕のフン専用箱もある。Todas las personas de habla hispana que vienen a Japón dicen que no hay botes de basura en Japón. Se encuentra cada 20 metros en Santiago. También hay una caja especialmente hecha de 🐕 Phun en el parque.

チリ地下鉄は深い駅は東京で一番深い六本木駅より深い。めちゃ深くてあの落盤事故を思い出す。The deepest station on the Chilean subway is deeper than Roppongi Station, the deepest station in Tokyo. It was so deep that it reminded me of that falling accident.

本屋には英語の本はないのに、日本に関する本が本棚一つある。村上、川端、石黒、などの小説から旅の本まで。Although there are no English books in bookstores, there is a bookshelves only about Japan. From novels by Murakami, Kawabata, Ishiguro, and others to travel books.

英語の本はほとんど無いがカトリカ大学の本はバイリンガルがある。この本は建築学部のキャンパスの歴史を記した本。図面も全部付いているのがすごい。There are very few English books, but the books from Catholic University are bilingual. This book describes the history of the Faculty of Architecture. It's amazing that all the drawings are included.

三連休中日。今回初めて地下鉄で本屋へ、近くのカフェでブランチ。これで1000円弱。Three-day holiday. This was my first time using the subway to go to a bookstore and had brunch at a nearby cafe. This costs just under 1,000 yen.

ガラバレーを見てきた。イギリス、アメリカ、ブラジル、アルゼンチン、ベネゼエラのバレリーナ、そして日本（と言ってもロイヤルバレーのソリストだが）のFumi Kanekoさんが登場。見応えありました。主役はKanekoさんなんだけどクラシックよりコンテポラリーダンスを披露したウクライナのアナスタシアが魅力的でした。I saw Gala Ballet.
