さあそろそろ帰り支度の心配をする時期になった。来るときは当然のことながら制限荷重ギリギリで来たし、自著は別便で送りそれらは全部差し上げた。問題はこちらで頂いた本や、今日買ってしまったチリ建築史全三巻などをどうやって持ち帰るかである。郵便で送ればいいと言いたいところだが、こちらの郵便は信用できない。かといってDHLやフェデックスなどはかなり高い（書類程度なら問題ないが１０キロ近くある本を送るサービスではない）。そこで二足ある靴の一足は履き潰したので捨てる。毎朝の散歩ジャージも捨てる。その他要らないインナーや靴下も捨てる。コートやセーターはなるべく着て帰る（東京は冬だし）。これでなんとかなるか？体重計がないのでなんとも微妙。空港で２３KGを超えていると面倒臭いことになるのだが、、、、 Now it's time to start worrying about packing for the trip home. チロエ島からキンチャオ島に渡る。建物は鄙びてテフエラの形はさらに増える。Desde la Isla de Chiloé cruzamos a la Isla Quinchao, donde las construcciones son más rústicas y aumenta el número de tejuelas.

チロエ島独特なカラフルなウロコ壁。ウロコの幾何学パターンはかなり沢山ある。The colorful scale walls are unique to Chiloe Island. There are many geometric patterns of scales.

チロエの世界遺産になっている木造教会の一つ。木造でここまで作り込まれた十字平面でドームを冠した教会は初めて見た。One of the wooden churches that is a World Heritage Site in Chiloe. It was the first time I had seen such a sophisticated wooden church with a cross-shaped plan and a dome.

2度目のプエルトモンに向かう。今日は晴れてオソルノ火山があたかも富士山のごとく綺麗に見える。I headed to Puerto Montt for the second time. Today was a clear day and the Osorno Volcano looked as beautiful as Mount Fuji.

ディエゴの篠原一男みたいな新居でディナーをいただきました。平面は白の家の一回り大きい12m×11m。屋根は矩勾配の切妻。しかしそのプロセスは既存のボックスにスチールの屋根を斜線一杯にかけ渡した形。ディエゴありがとう。素敵な空間でした。We had dinner in Diego's new home, which resembles Kazuo Shinohara's. The floor plan is 12m x 11m, slightly larger than House in white The roof is 90 degtrrs gable. However, the process is like a steel roof slanted across a existing wooden box. Thank you Diego. It was a wonderful space.
