千歳空港でまだ時間がありラーメンを食べに行った。するとラーメンを注文した人だけいくら丼が注文できるという口車に乗せられ両方食べた。I still had time at Chitose Airport and went out to eat some ramen. Then, only those who ordered ramen could order a rice bowl with Ikura, and I ate both.

室蘭工大で作っているお土産クッキーをいただいた。帰宅して食べようとしてその名前に驚いた。鉄の素である。I received a souvenir cookie made at Muroran Institute of Technology. When I got home, I was surprised by the name. It is the iron base.

昨日北大、科学大、で1時間半ずつ、本日室蘭工大で6時間半話しをました。よくこれだけ違うことが話せるものだと自分でも驚きます。レクチャー後山田先生が設計したカトリック教会を見せていただきました。ギリシア十字の平面が素敵です。Yesterday I spoke for an hour and half at Hokkaido University and Science University, and today I spoke for six and a half hours at Muroran Institute of Technology. I am surprised that I could speak something differently. After the lecture, Professor Yamada showed me a Catholic church designed by him. The plane of the Greek cross is lovely.

札幌を出発したすずらん2号は苫小牧まで南下し、90度曲がり海沿いを西に進むSuzuran No. 2, departing from Sapporo, heads south to Tomakomai, turn 90 degrees and west along the sea.

北大で小澤先生設計の木造新築と農学校時代の文化財のリノベ、移動して岩澤先生の自邸を走るように見た。I saw a new wooden building designed by Professor Ozawa at Hokkaido University and a renovation of cultural assets from the time of the agricultural school. I moved and ran around Professor Iwasawa's home.

拙著を新聞書評に取り上げてくれた作曲家の望月京さんのエッセイを読んでみた。彼女は作曲とは人間の営みと環境（宇宙、自然）との連関•••を音楽上のしくみに置き換え•••人や世界を•••再考する一手段だと言う。僕にとっての建築はかなりそれに近い。I read an essay by composer Mochizuki Misato who featured my book in a newspaper book review. She says that composition is a way to replace the connection between human activities and the environment (universe, nature) mechanism of music and reconsider the people and the world. For me, architecture is pretty similar.

蚊が増えてきたThe number of mosquitoes is increasing

ものの見事にエスタ詐欺にあった。エスタとググり一番上に申請したら支払いができませんと表示された。そこでカードを変えてもう一回やったら同じく個人認証できませんと出てきた。すると両方のカード会社から使いましたかとすぐにメールが来た。なんと双方20,000以上の支払い予告。使ってませんと言って止めてもらった。正しいエスタはすごーく下の方にある国土安全保障省の公式ウェッブサイトです。

チェックアウトするべくロビーに降りたらLiu先生、Xi先生が待ち構えていた。お別れの挨拶と今後の交流についての相談だった。同済大学のエンブレムを感謝の印にいただいた。ありがとう来年も来ます。日本にも来てください待ってます。さようなら。When I went down to the lobby to check out, Professor Liu and Professor Xi were waiting for me.They said their farewells and we discussed future exchanges. He gave me the Tongji University emblem as a token of their appreciation. Thank you. I'll come again next year. Please come to Japan too. I'll be waiting for you. Goodbye.
