スミルハン•ラディッチのテアトロ•ビオビオは水平方向に3.9m×3.9mの正方形グリッド垂直方向に主として3.6m×3.9mグリッドで構成された立体格子に劇場が挿入された構成であ。格子の断面は正確に30センチ角で極めて細く見えるし、コンクリートの施工精度が高い。 私が教えた社会人コースの学生の話しでは、スミルハンは篠原一男の上原通りの工事中写真に触発され構造体の露わしをこのプロジェクトで徹底したという。 Smiljan Radić's Teatro Biobio is a three- dimensional lattice structure consisting of a horizontal 3.9m x 3.9m square grid and a vertical grid mainly consisting of a 3.6m x 3.9m grid, with the theatre inserted into it. The cross section of the lattice is exactly 30cm square, making it appear extremely thin, and the concrete construction is highly precise. According to a student in my adult course, Smiljan was inspired by Shinohara Kazuo's photographs of Uehara Street under construction, and in this project he thoroughly exposed the structure.、
