坂牛研OBの金沢くんの篠原論が黄表紙合格との通知。これで僕がセカンドオーサーの黄表紙は全て終わり。全部で14本終わり。途中で不採用になったものもあったけれど、改良して出し直して全て採用になった。坂本先生もおっしゃっていたが、黄表紙のジャッジは査読者次第。特に意匠論はそうである。後輩に伝えることがあるとしたらしぶとくやるということしかない。そしてある程度そこで客観的なものの見方は作り上げるとしても、結局意匠論として価値のあることは黄表紙に通るかどうかということよりかは何に着眼するかということが大きい。どう書くかということも重要だけど、何を書くかということの方が大事なんだと思う。I was notified that the Shinohara paper by Kanazawa, an alumnus of the Sakaushi Laboratory, has been accepted for the yellow journal. This is the end of all the yellow-cover papers for which I am a second author. There are 14 in total. Some were rejected along the way, but I improved them and resubmitted them, and they were all accepted. As Professor Sakamoto said, the judgement of yellow-cover papers is up to the reviewers. This is especially true for design papers. If there is anything I can tell my juniors, it is to persevere. And even if you can build up a somewhat objective perspective there, in the end, what is valuable as design paper is more about what you focus on than whether it passes the yellow-cover edition. How you write is important, but what you write is even more important.
